A CONSIDERED APPROACH
A physical sample or established color reference gives the conversation a concrete starting point. Describe the lighting and finish under which the final result will be assessed; a screen image is useful context but not a physical color standard.
Include the substrate, printing process, current ink system and any finishing operations. The same target color can appear different across materials, so the reference and production surface need to be considered together.
